Giving Thanks #1 and 2

I keep seeing everyone's posts on FB about November being the month of thanks and people posting things they are thankful for every day. I started yesterday (better late than never, right?) and am going to post them here as well. I stole the graphic from my buddy, Melissa (she's awesome). Since I didn't put it on here yesterday, you get a two-fer today:

Okay, that one should say yesterday, but she made the graphic and I can't change it. But yesterday I was thankful for my job. As I said in my post on FB, I was not thankful for the things I had to do yesterday (5 layoffs), but I am definitely thankful to be employed. My job definitely doesn't suck. The company has made it pretty well through some really rough economic times and I have been able to stay on board. The people are great and there isn't a lot to complain about aside from the commute, which is my fault since I moved 45 minutes from the office.

Today I am actually thankful for my family and friends. You would think that goes without saying for most, but the truth is, it should NEVER go without saying. Tell the people in your life how important they are to you and tell them often. In the words of Garth Brooks, if tomorrow never comes, will they know how much I love them? And even though sometimes they make me want to pull my hair out, they also make me laugh and feel loved and special. So, thanks for that.

What are you thankful for?
